Mandatory 14-day quarantine for arrivals extended to July 31, 2020

Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day quarantine for all arrivals is in effect through July 31, 2020. Don’t risk illness, arrest or fines — visitors and returning residents alike.

UPDATE: Gov. David Ige said on June 19 that he intends to extend the mandatory 14- day-quarantine for arriving travelers through the end of July.

The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau notes that the state’s quarantine order is unlike any other in the country.

In addition to risking the health of yourself and others, ignoring the quarantine requirement can subject you to arrest and fines of up to $5,000.

If you are planning a trip to the islands while this quarantine is in effect, be aware that vacation rentals have been deemed non-essential by Gov. Ige’s order and, therefore, cannot legally accept new reservations.
