The Transformer has finally been installed!

After a long year of waiting, we are finally coming to the end of this important and essential project. During the week of October 18, MECO finally installed the transformer, which will generate added electricity for the KKN Office and laundry room. Our 2 large dryers will finally be up and running, and our solar can finally be completed, so we will soon see a huge drop in our office and laundry room electricity bill! PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE June 2021 View in Newsletter Dear Fellow Homeowners, When our last Annual Homeowner’s meeting was held January 25, 2020, we had no idea a pandemic would arrive in our world and disrupt our lives. The state of Hawaii’s restrictions on gatherings and meetings forced the Board to cancel the Annual Homeowner’s Meeting for January 30, 2021. It was postponed to May 22, 2021, hoping restrictions would be lifted by then, but it didn’t happen, so it has had to be postponed again. The next Homeowner’s Meeting is now scheduled to be on January 29, 2022, when we hope

Site Manager’s Report February 1 to March 31, 2021 Projects and Repairs The following is a partial list of the projects and repairs that we have completed over the past few months. Building #8 the units #163, #263, and #363 just had the main drains replaced as serval of the pipes cracked. Building #4 units #223 and #123 had the main drain pipes replaced. There was a minor leak from unit #219 into unit #119, building 4. The Scheduling was made for May 2021 for the deck replacement for unit #321 as it leaked into unit #222 and unit #223.

Site Manager’s Report October 20, 2020 to January 21, 2021 Projects and Repairs The following is a partial list of the projects and repairs that we have completed over the past few months. The sidewalk between buildings 3 & 4 was replaced and we also repaired the lighting and sprinkler system to that area. We have moved the recycled bins from in front of the trash area to behind it at building 3 & 4 along with replacing the light bulb, a yellow stripe on the step, and putting signs up for that area for the guest. August 18, 2020 UPDATE: HAWAII PRE-TRAVEL COVID-19 TESTING FOR TRANS-PACIFIC VISITORS DELAYED TO OCT. 1 AT THE EARLIEST MORE: https://bit.ly/3l4Nj5Z Governor David Ige this afternoon on August 18, 2020 announced a delay in the start of the state’s pre-travel testing program to Oct. 1, 2020 at the earliest. Mandatory 14-day quarantine for arrivals extended to October 1, 2020 Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day quarantine for all arrivals is in effect through October 1, 2020. Don’t risk illness, arrest or fines — visitors and returning residents alike. The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau notes that the state’s quarantine order is unlike any other in the country.

Site Manager’s Report June, 2020 Projects and Repairs May & June 2020 While we still have the occupancy down due to the Covid-19 the maintenance staff has been able to catch up on a few more project for May & June. Pool: All 3 pool lights, power serge and burnt out bulbs were replaced. The pool area is still maintained every day.
